More limited evidence exists for the association of victimization and eating disorders. 5% of nonbulimic women; further, victimization contributed to the development of or continued problems with bulimia nervosa (Dansky, Brewerton, Kilpatrick, & O'Neill, 1997). 4% of victims with severe partner violence victimization, thus showing a relation between victimization and rates of eating disorder (Danielson, Moffitt, Caspi, & Silva, 1998).
